All right, dear readers, it's time to approach the podium and let your voice be heard in the most important debate of the season. No, I'm not talking politics! I'm talking about the heated debate regarding traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating versus the growing trend of trunk-or-treating in which families gather tailgate-style in a parking lot and hand out candy one quick trunk at a time.
In my experience, people are passionate about their particular views on this one and there isn't much middle ground. You either belong to the camp who believes that children should work hard for their candy on Halloween, walking miles upon miles (preferably uphill); or else you've joined Team Trunk, ushering in a new era in which families enjoy the trifecta of Halloween fun---candy, friends, and decorations---all in one easy location.
